Cooking School Diary and prices

Please see the planned Diary for Cooking Schools and Demos below. In a Demo the chef will prepare and demonstrate the dishes on the menu offering tastings and answering questions. At a Cooking school Class is a hands on experience in classes of small numbers, preparing the menu and feasting on the delights. All prices are including VAT.

Hansen’s bake off

Lemon drizzle made with ground almonds for the ultimate light textured cake
Home baked cinnamon rolls- you will be the ultimate kitchen king or Queen
Scones- simple but heavenly especially when you get them right

Eating for energy, vitality and keeping trim
Just a bit of information and guidance can encourage futuristic thoughts of a healthier life become a reality. I will share with you some of the recipes that are power packed with nutrients, allow slow release and lasting energy and in turn encourages your metabolism to work for you.

Bread baking course - Bountiful baking
During this class we will cover the theory of sourdough and make some too. We will make a spelt naturally low gluten loaf, a foccacia with rosemary and buttery cinnamon rolls. We will of course taste some of this wonderful bread and you will take some loaves home for your friends and family to try.

Moroccan Moments
Inspired with the flavours of Morocco- such as Cinnamon, Harrisa, Almonds & Pomegranates- we will prepare a three-course dinner, offering perfect warmth & sumptuous winter entertaining.

Menu
Tuna with Chermoula Marinade
Lamb and seasonal fruit tajine from Morocco herbs and cranberry pine nut couscous
Rosewater perfumed Fruit


The Chermoula Marinade can also be served as a salsa to accompany the fish dish- so as well as infusing flavour it compliments. The lamb prepared with lamb shanks is divine and can be prepared a day in advance making it the perfect dinner party menu. Perfumed fruit works well with figs, peaches or similar fruit- it is baked with an infusion of honey and rose water and can be served with ice cream or Greek yoghurt. A simple yet impressive dessert.

Demo’s are short drop in event that are mainly observational, fun with lots of expert tips and menus to take home with tastings during the session

Hands on are classes in smaller groups allowing you to cook the recipes with expert guidance and tuition. The classes end with dining on the menu that has been prepared.
