BOUNTIFUL BREAD BAKING

Having gained the art of Bread baking from a master baker in Copenhagen- Susan Hansen would like to share her knowledge in what is a highly satisfying skill .

Bread baking can be intimidating to the uninitiated or perhaps you have tried and not had much success. During this class we will guide you through the theory and practice of how to create the perfect loaf. Because bread baking is not a precise science with practice you can create your own recipes incorporating all your favourite ingredients.

This class cover’s the theory and practice of sourdough, a natural yeast that is softer on the digestion and creates the most wonderful bread. Also spelt bread naturally low in gluten a grain that was used in the Roman times. We will also make foccacia with rosemary and sea salt and melt in the mouth divine buttery cinnamon rolls.
